T3 Road Hazard Warranty

A road hazard occurs when a tire fails due to a puncture, bruise, or break incurred during the course of normal driving on a maintained road. Nails, glass, and pot holes would be the most common examples.

  • The T3 Premium Road Hazard Warranty (Local) covers qualifying new tires sold and installed at retail wherein the road hazard damage occurred within 25 miles of the dealer’s location and the tire is returned to the same location for replacement. This warranty is not valid nationwide nor at any other T3 dealer location – it will be honored at the original selling dealer ONLY.
  • The warranty only covers tires deemed unserviceable and unrepairable because of a road hazard during the coverage period.
  • The warranty applies only to the original purchaser and is not transferable.
  • Eligible tires are covered at 100% for the first 25% of tread wear.
  • Eligible tires are pro-rated, based on the remaining usable tread, if tread wear is greater than 25%.
  • The T3 Road Hazard Warranty expires two (2) years from original retail sale or when the remaining tread depth is 2/32 of an inch or less, whichever comes first.
  • The consumer will be responsible for any taxes, mounting, balancing, non-covered wear or any other miscellaneous fees.
  • The tires and brands covered are contingent on the T3 level of the participating dealer as outlined above.

The following vehicles are not eligible for coverage: Vehicles with a manufacturer’s load rating capacity of 1 ton or greater. Vehicles used for racing. Zero pressure, PAX or any extended mobility tires are excluded. COMMERCIAL VEHICLES. Any vehicle used for farm, ranch, agricultural, or off-road service. Coverage excludes damage from off-road use (off-road use is defined as driving on anything other than a paved or gravel road maintained by state or local authority), damage from collision, fire, vandalism, theft, snow chains, manufacturer’s defects, abuse and neglect (i.e., improper application, improper inflation, brake lock up, wheel spinning, torque snags, etc.). Tires with torn beads. Also excluded are damages resulting from mechanical failures (i.e., failed shocks, struts, alignment, etc.) or interference with vehicle components (i.e., fenders, exhaust, springs, etc.). Also excluded are any tires that have been retreaded, recapped, regrooved, remolded, tubed or repaired in a manner other than per manufacturer’s guidelines. This plan covers only the tires registered to the customer and listed by DOT number on the original invoice or plan certificate. CONSEQUENTIAL AND INCIDENTAL DAMAGES ARE EXCLUDED. Some states do not allow the exclusion or limitation of consequential and incidental damages; therefore, such limitations or exclusions may not apply to you. No expressed guarantees given other than that stated herein. This service plan gives you specific legal rights; you may have other rights which vary from state to state. Vehicles equipped with TPMS may incur additional costs for flat repairs and tire replacements. This plan does not cover subsequent damage to TPMS sensors incurred during a tire failure or flat tire.

Dealer participants who withdraw from the T3 Certified Tire Center program or fail to meet their contractual obligations under the T3 guidelines will immediately be prohibited from participating in the T3 Road Hazard Warranty Program, and will be solely responsible for any and all consumer warranty claims, beyond the coverage extended under the manufacturer’s warranty offer. Tire Centers, LLC (TCi) reserves the right to change or amend the RHW policies and procedures or to discontinue the RHW offer without prior written notice or further obligations. Individual dealer claims cannot exceed national claim rate. Claim rate defined as eligible claims as a percent of total TCi purchases. TCi reserves the right to refuse any claim not meeting warranty guidelines. TCi reserves the right to audit any claim to verify the validity of such claim and to take appropriate actions to prevent misuse of the prescribed RHW policies and procedures.

Your Roadside Assistance Benefit is provided to you for free by the tire dealer that sold you tires and is identified on your invoice.
